Hi Brett, you can uninstall the driver in Programs and Features. Seems strange to be so hit and miss.

The only way to fix this and get it working is un-install the 4×4 driver via the device manager and then cold reboot the computer.
Hi, Another update after some midisporf attempts with this Forums Posts Latest Posts. That’s the only place it appears. Please reference the new topic here: Hi Brett, try the 4×4 without the driver, connect it, go to the Device Manager and try to manually update the driver.
I’ll wait a few days to see if this becomes a stable fix. I’ve also posted qindows issue to the beta driver report thread on the M-Audio forums, a release driver is on the way apparently.

Set it to ‘Never notify’. Muziker Max Output Level: I got back to me my old RSR MidiMan cable on a desktop using the game port that I fould to be the most reliable thing. I can report that it now works perfectly on Windows 7 x64 with Sonar 8.
